There are 2 places to get a fast CHAdeMO (charge de move) in Aspen. This one is across from the airport. Check with plugshare
If it’s warm enough you can get a quick car wash at the AABC and then dry it off while charging.

Seems I’m not the only one with this daft idea. Say hello to Steve Sasman. Given the rates for rentals in Aspen I might have to give that Airbnb option a try….
Currently I’m at 888 uber rides on UberX and counting. Unlike Steve I had one more hoop to jump through for the commercial license. In Colorado Tesla is not listed as a luxury vehicle so I needed a waiver from the Public Utilities Commission to get the limo license. Tomorrow I’ll drive to Denver and try again for Uber Black. Wish me luck.
Thanks to Greg Poschman (producter) and John Sturdy (DP) for this fabulous footage. Winter is just around the corner and soon it will be time to change out the tires.
Thanks to Bob Cohn of the Atlantic

Thank you Pitkin County!
There is a brand new shiny Direct Current charger across from the Aspen Airport. This will input about 140 miles per hour into the batteries which is much nicer than the 20 miles per hour from the 30 amp chargers in the next parking slots. To do this with a Tesla you need an adapter cable- well worth it when you see the number of DC charging stations which are popping up.

There is a roadblock to a Tesla limo in Colorado.
Uber Tesla has been an adventure and doubtless it will continue to be full of surprises. One of the most interesting twists is that Tesla is not considered a luxury vehicle which means it does not qualify as an Executive Car or a Limousine in Colorado.

Okay, I’ll be honest, I can’t think of that question without hearing “Marathon Man” in my head… but in regards to the Tesla… here’s the answer:
